Data Migration Lead

We are seeking an experienced Data Migration Lead to support the OPGT Dynamics 365 implementation program. The successful candidate will define, manage, and lead the end-to-end data migration strategy and execution across Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) and Finance & Operations (F&O), ensuring the successful migration of data from legacy systems into the target Microsoft platform.

The role requires a senior, client-facing professional capable of leading migration planning, governance, execution, and stakeholder engagement while collaborating closely with business, functional, technical, and architecture teams throughout the implementation lifecycle.

• Quickly become familiar with the program's existing data landscape, migration approach, documentation, assumptions, risks, and dependencies.
• Develop, own, and manage the client through an end-to-end migration plan from legacy systems into the new Microsoft platform, including strategy, timelines, dependencies, readiness criteria, testing, cutover, and go-live activities.
• Lead source-to-target mapping, transformation, cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution activities.
• Collaborate with client subject matter experts and project stakeholders to define migration requirements and support migration readiness.
• Lead migration planning, mock migrations, execution cycles, validation activities, and post-migration reconciliation.
• Coordinate with functional, technical, data, and architecture teams to resolve migration-related issues, risks, and dependencies.
• Translate solution and data model changes into a practical and controlled migration approach.
• Perform and oversee data quality assessment, remediation, and cleanup activities as required.
• Provide clear migration governance, status reporting, and proactive management of risks, issues, assumptions, and decisions.
• Mentor and guide project team members on migration best practices and standards.
