The salary range for this position is $110,000 to $145,000, and includes eligibility for performance-based bonuses.
Senior Underwriter Duties- Create and manage a profitable book of new and renewal business
- Prospect for new business by developing relationships with retail agents through e‑mail, phone calls and personal visits
- Deliver quotes and binders to retail agents
- Remain up to date with new insurance companies' offers and how to leverage them
- Prospect for new business markets and/or lines to write
- Mentor and train new team members
- Assist in the day-to‑day operations as required
- 3 - 5 years carrier or agency underwriting experience
