• Conduct onsite facility evaluations to assess operational exposures and prevent losses
• Complete detailed reports for various lines of business to assist underwriting groups
• Assist customers in developing and implementing safety policies and procedures
• Provide advanced risk management and consultative services to assigned clients
• Develop and conduct safety/risk management seminars and training programs

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety or equivalent work experience
• 1-5 years of experience in insurance safety consulting or related safety work in private industry
• High level of independence, organization, and self-motivation to work from home
• Knowledge of OSHA, ANSI, NFPA Standards, and DOT regulations
• Acceptable motor vehicle record for travel (50%) including overnight travel in some cases

• Emphasis in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, or Physical Sciences
• Experience in coordinating and servicing large or multi-location accounts
• Desire to pursue professional safety designations including CSP and/or other relevant certifications
