Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM (Flexible hours required)
Work Environment: Onsite in Richmond home office required for the first year; potential for hybrid or remote work thereafter
License Requirement: Active Property and Casualty insurance license required

Virginia Farm Bureau is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Inside Sales Manager to lead our inside sales team in delivering exceptional service and results. This individual will play a crucial role in guiding a team of sales professionals in selling Property & Casualty insurance products. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of insurance products and sales strategies.

• Team Leadership: Lead and coach a high-performing inside sales team, focusing on selling Property & Casualty insurance products.
• Client Engagement: Engage with prospects and clients across multiple channels (inbound/outbound phone, email, chat, text) to assess insurance needs and recommend suitable coverage.
• System Navigation: Seamlessly navigate multiple systems and applications to ensure a smooth customer interaction.
• Pipeline Management: Manage the sales pipeline from lead to close, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate documentation. (All post-sale servicing of customer accounts are managed by our Policy services, Agency Services, and claims teams.)
• Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and performance metrics for both individual and team goals.
• Strategy Development: Develop and implement sales strategies, scripts, and workflows to drive performance and efficiency.
• KPI Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports to leadership.
• Compliance Assurance: Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines, policy contracts, and state insurance regulations.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to align lead generation and campaign efforts.
• Technology Proficiency: Utilize CRM applications, sales tools, and customer engagement tactics effectively.

• Licensing: Active Property and Casualty insurance license (required).
• Experience: Proven experience in inside sales management.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of insurance products, policy contracts, and underwriting guidelines.
