• Identify, solicit, underwrite, and sell new and renewal Specialty accounts to drive profitable growth
• Apply technical, sales, and analytical skills to provide insurance solutions and manage risk
• Manage assigned portfolio to achieve financial goals and ensure underwriting guidelines are followed
• Build and maintain effective relationships with agents and customers to enhance sales
• Collaborate with other business units to deliver comprehensive insurance solutions

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• Generally, 3-7+ years of Specialty or standard commercial lines experience
• 3-4+ years of experience driving agency relationships resulting in profitable new and renewal business
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external partners
• Ability to exercise judgment, negotiate, and make sound business decisions effectively

• Experience with complex accounts in a specialty insurance environment
• Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to change and solve problems effectively
• Familiarity with underwriting concepts including risk selection and loss analysis
• Knowledge of financial reporting and insurance performance measures
• Proven track record of developing effective relationship management strategies
