Actuarial Pricing Analyst IV - Remote

Overview

Employer Industry: Insurance

• Research and develop new methods for insurance rating and prepare analyses for regulatory filings
• Train and mentor Actuarial Analysts while evaluating their analytical work
• Gather and clean data to ensure accuracy and readiness for analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide actuarial support and communicate project updates
• Follow industry developments and emerging actuarial methods to inform decision-making

• BA/BS in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, or related area with 5 years of experience in statistical and actuarial analysis on personal lines insurance, or a graduate degree with 3 years of experience
• Completion of 5 or more actuarial exams
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and programming languages such as SQL, R, Python, or Radar
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in personal lines pricing insurance

• Expert-level problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Proven team leadership abilities and strong presentation skills
• In-depth knowledge of the actuarial industry and insurance marketplace
• Basic computer programming skills
• Active participation in employee resource groups or community service initiatives
