What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Research and develop new methods for insurance rating
  • Prepare and coordinate analyses of rate and statistical filings for regulatory agencies
  • Evaluate and make recommendations based on analytical work
  • Provide training and support to Actuarial Analysts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide actuarial support
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • BA/BS in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, or related area and 5 years of experience in statistical and actuarial analysis on personal lines insurance, or a graduate degree with 3 years of experience
  • Completion of 5 or more actuarial exams
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and programming languages (e.g., SQL, R, Python)
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • At least 5 years of experience in personal lines pricing insurance

  • Expert-level problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Proven ability to lead teams and communicate effectively
  • In-depth knowledge of the actuarial industry and insurance marketplace
  • Basic computer programming skills
