Senior Workers' Claims Consultant III - Remote

Our client, a leading insurance company, is expanding its California business and seeks a Senior California Workers' Compensation Claims Consultant III. This newly created role will handle moderate to complex California Workers' Compensation claims from inception to close. Qualified candidates will work remotely but must reside in California.

• Handle mid to complex California Workers' Compensation Lost Time claims.
• Manage pending ranging between 70–90 files.
• Investigate claims to determine validity and extent of liability.
• Properly investigate and evaluate each case by corresponding with agents, insureds, claimants, witnesses, and others.
• Coordinate medical treatment for injured workers.
• Review and evaluate documentation, including applications, reports, and statements.
• Ensure legal, regulatory, and fair claims handling compliance.
• Identify claims with subrogation potential and pursue reimbursement.
• Set or recommend reserves based on results of claim investigation.

• 5+ years of California Workers Compensation Lost Time claims handling experience.
• SIP strongly desired.
• Must have experience working for an Insurance Carrier or TPA.
• Must reside in California and have experience handling litigated files.
• Excellent Customer Service and Organizational skills.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required.

• $90,000 – $105,000 annual base salary plus bonus.
• Ability to work from home.
