Location: Town of Poland
Our client, a leading Insurance Carrier, is seeking to add a Workers' Compensation Claims Representative to their Louisiana team. This person would be responsible for handling mid-to-complex Lost Time claims throughout the state of Louisiana. Qualified candidates must possess an active Louisiana Adjuster’s License with strong knowledge of Louisiana Workers' Compensation Law.

- Pendingwillrangefrom
60-80claims. - Negotiatesettlementswithinjuredworkersandattorneys.
- Ensureappropriateinvestigationoftheunderlyingfactsandcircumstancesarecarriedout,properexpertsareretainedandutilizedwherenecessary,selectionandutilizationofcounselisappropriate,propernegotiationstrategyisemployed.
- Providesdirectiontolegalcounselandmanageslitigationprocess.
- Attendsettlementconferencesonseriousinjuryclaims.
- 3-7+yearsof
Workers'Compensationclaimsadjustingexperience - Mustholdanactive Louisiana Adjuster ’sLicense
- Strongverbalandwrittencommunicationskills,includingthecapabilitytowriteroutinereportsandcorrespondence,speakeffectivelybeforegroupsofcustomersoremployeesandhandlelitigationsandnegotiations.
- $75,000to $90,000+annuallydependingonexperience
