- Manage all claims efficiently and effectively to an appropriate resolution with minimal supervision
- Handle all aspects of liability injury claims of low to moderate complexity, including coverage, liability, and damage concerns
- Assist in taking first notice of loss calls and participate in the department phone queue as needed
- Develop negotiation strategies to resolve claims effectively with insureds, claimants, or representatives of injured parties
- Communicate pertinent case facts to supervisors and actively participate in shaping the company culture
- 2+ years of Casualty claims experience or a minimum of 2 years of claims experience including 1+ year of Commercial claims experience
- High School Diploma/GED or a minimum of 3 years experience in a Casualty claims role within the P&C insurance industry
- Required to acquire and/or maintain multiple Adjuster’s Licenses (state‑specific) within the first 90 days of employment
- Outstanding interpersonal and strong computer navigation abilities
- Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously
- 3+ years of Casualty claims handling experience
- Prior experience with Commercial policies
- BA/BS in business, insurance, or related area
- Flexibility to work any shift during the operating hours of 5:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. in your time zone
- Capability to complete training and perform the job in a remote setting
