- Research and develop new methods for insurance rating and loss reserving
- Prepare and coordinate analyses of rate and statistical filings for regulatory agencies
- Train and mentor Actuarial Analysts to enhance team capabilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide actuarial support and insights
- Conduct data analysis and recommend changes to insurance products based on findings
- BA/BS in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, or a related field with 5 years of experience in statistical and actuarial analysis on personal lines insurance
- Or a graduate degree in a relevant field with 3 years of experience in the same area
- At least 5 years of experience performing statistical and actuarial analysis in personal lines pricing insurance
- Completion of 5 or more actuarial exams demonstrating proficiency in the field
- Strong analytical and communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting
- Expert-level problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Proven ability to lead teams and communicate effectively through presentations
- In-depth knowledge of the actuarial industry and insurance marketplace
- Basic programming skills in statistical analysis tools (e.g., SQL, R, Python)
- Active participation in company culture initiatives, such as employee resource groups or volunteer efforts
