Part-Time RCIS Crop Claims Field Adjuster II

Zurich North America is looking for a Part-Time Crop Claims Field Adjuster II to join our Rural Community Insurance Services (RCIS) team. RCIS is one of the leading crop insurance providers in the U.S. with a national network of about 3,600 licensed agents.

This role is based in Wyoming, with a home‑based office. The position requires 20 hours per week with potential overtime and approximately 50% travel to cover the territory within a 100‑mile area of Big Horn, Park, or Washakie counties.

• Complete field inspections, read maps and aerial photos, measure fields and storage bins, and discuss findings of crop loss with farmers.
• Perform fact‑finding regarding crop damage; record information and transmit loss data to accurately determine potential damages.
• Provide excellent service to customers – both agents and policyholders.
• Utilize company software to electronically transmit claims information directly from the field to RCIS.
• Follow regulatory and company rules, policies, and procedures.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2+ years of experience in the agricultural area.
• Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program Certification (CAPP) obtained within 180 days of hire.
• Reliable personal transportation and ability to travel within the territory.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Physical requirements:
  
  walk up to 3 miles in agricultural fields, climb storage bins up to 25 feet, lift 25–50 lbs., and work outdoors in varying temperatures/weather.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organization and prioritization skills.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience providing technical training to other crop professionals.

Compensation – Hourly rate $22.98–$31.63, with short‑term incentive bonus eligibility set at 5% and potential bonuses and merit increases.
