Actuarial Pricing Analyst IV - Remote

Overview

Employer Industry: Personal Lines Property and Casualty Insurance

• Research and develop new methods for insurance rating and loss reserving
• Prepare and coordinate analyses of rate and statistical filings for regulatory submission
• Provide training to Actuarial Analysts and evaluate their analytical work
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide actuarial support
• Perform data analysis, conduct rate reviews, and recommend changes to insurance products

• BA/BS in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, or related area with 5 years of experience in statistical and actuarial analysis on personal lines insurance
• Or a Graduate degree in the same fields with 3 years of relevant experience
• Completion of 5 or more actuarial exams
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and programming languages such as SQL, R, and Python
• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Expert-level problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Proven ability to lead teams and provide formal presentations
• In-depth knowledge of the actuarial industry and insurance marketplace
• Basic computer software programming skills
• Active participation in employee resource groups or community service initiatives
