Underwriting Associate

• Analyze underwriting information to respond to quotes, renewals, and policy endorsements within assigned authority
• Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and company regulations
• Process endorsement requests and execute pricing strategies for assigned accounts
• Collaborate with internal partners to resolve policy-level issues and provide clear direction for support staff
• Actively engage with agencies to gather necessary information and clarify policy needs

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3 years of commercial property and casualty insurance experience preferred
• Completion of or working towards CIC or AU certifications/designations
• Knowledge of coverage forms and endorsements used in policy construction
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred but not required
• Familiarity with internal tools and administrative systems for effective decision-making
• Ability to stay current on underwriting strategies, regulations, and trends for assigned territory
• Demonstrated adaptability and flexibility to meet customer needs
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
