• Investigate and adjust workers' compensation claims with high potential exposure
• Analyze coverage, determine compensability, and establish reserves
• Negotiate settlements and conduct meetings with insureds and claimants
• Prepare large loss reports for internal and external audiences
• Collaborate with defense attorneys and other vendors, including medical case management

• Minimum of 10 to 13 years of California workers' compensation claims adjusting experience with higher exposure claims
• Current license to adjust workers’ compensation claims in California
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with a variety of internal and external contacts
• Strong consideration for candidates with industry designations, including Associate in Claims

• Experience in managing complex claims and developing resolution strategies
• Familiarity with California workers' compensation laws and regulations
• Proven track record of high energy and resilience in a competitive environment
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Previous experience working closely with medical case management and surveillance vendors
