Sr. Commercial Casualty Claims Specialist; Remote

• Manage all claims efficiently and effectively to an appropriate resolution with minimal supervision
• Handle all aspects of liability injury claims of low to moderate complexity, including coverage and damage concerns
• Make coverage determinations and conduct investigative work related to claims
• Develop negotiation strategies to resolve claims effectively with insureds and claimants
• Participate in taking first notice of loss calls and assist in the department phone queue as needed

• 4‑5 years of claims experience with a minimum of 3‑5 years in casualty adjuster experience
• High school diploma (HS/GED) or at least 3 years of experience in a casualty claims role within the P&C insurance industry
• Must hold an Adjuster's license for all applicable states or obtain license(s) within 90 days of filling the position
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to shape company culture
• Willingness to travel as needed for role and team meetings

• 5+ years of casualty claims adjuster experience
• BA/BS in business, insurance, or a related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Commercial claims handling experience
• Bilingual (Spanish) skills
• Active participation in employee resource groups and community service
