- Manage all aspects of 1st and 3rd party injury claims of low to moderate complexity
- Conduct investigative work, make coverage determinations, and advise customers on claims
- Develop negotiation strategies to resolve claims with insureds and claimants
- Assist with taking first notice of loss calls and participate in department phone queue
- Communicate pertinent case facts to supervisors and participate in team meetings as needed
- 4-5 years of claims experience with a minimum of 3-5 years in casualty adjuster experience
- High school diploma or GED, or a minimum of 3 years experience in a casualty claims role within the P&C insurance industry
- Must hold an Adjuster's license for all applicable states or obtain license(s) within 90 days of filling position
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Willingness to travel as needed for the role, including team meetings
- 5+ years of casualty claims adjuster experience
- BA/BS in business, insurance, or related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in commercial claims handling
- Bilingual (Spanish) skills
- Active participation in company culture initiatives, such as employee resource groups
