• Analyze and process complex veterinary claims to determine exposure and manage claims resolution
• Conduct full investigations and provide detailed reports on claims and legal actions
• Negotiate claim settlements up to designated authority level
• Monitor and manage claim reserves and recommend settlement strategies
• Communicate claim activity with clients while maintaining professional relationships

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred
• Six (6) years of claims management experience or equivalent education and experience
• In-depth knowledge of medical malpractice insurance principles and laws
• Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills
• Strong organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills

• Professional certification applicable to the line of business
• Experience in veterinary claims or related fields
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to meet or exceed performance competencies
