- Handle an inventory of automotive damage, disputed liability, and cross-jurisdictional claims
- Negotiate and conclude recovery settlements while ensuring strict regulatory compliance
- Initiate and hear arbitration between companies on disputed liability and damage claims
- Determine the appropriate collection method and file arbitrations as required
- Minimum of 3 years of automotive claims liability experience
- General or advanced knowledge of Department of Insurance regulations and compliance requirements
- Strong customer service and negotiation skills
- Proficient analytical, problem‑solving, prioritization, and organizational skills
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Advanced knowledge of Department of Insurance regulations and compliance requirements
- BA/BS in Business, Insurance, or a related area, or equivalent experience
- General understanding of different lines of coverage (i.e., homeowners, auto, personal property)
- Excellent communication skills with people from diverse backgrounds
- Willingness to actively participate in company culture initiatives
