- Handle a variety of automotive damage, disputed liability, and cross-jurisdictional claims
- Negotiate and finalize recovery settlements while ensuring regulatory compliance
- Conduct arbitrations on disputed liability and damage claims as necessary
- Maintain a professional demeanor and uphold the values of the employer
- Minimum of 3 years of automotive claims liability experience
- General or advanced knowledge of Department of Insurance regulations and compliance requirements
- Strong customer service and negotiation skills
- Proficient analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and organizational skills
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Advanced knowledge of Department of Insurance regulations and compliance requirements
- BA/BS in Business, Insurance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- General understanding of different lines of coverage (e.g., homeowners, auto, personal property)
- Excellent communication skills with respect for diverse backgrounds
- Demonstrated commitment to company culture through engagement in community and team activities
