What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Research and develop new methods for insurance rating and loss reserving
  • Prepare and coordinate analyses of rate and statistical filings for regulatory agencies
  • Evaluate analytical work and make recommendations based on findings
  • Provide training and support to Actuarial Analysts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide actuarial support
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • BA/BS in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, or related area with 5 years of experience in statistical and actuarial analysis on personal lines insurance
  • Alternatively, a graduate degree in the same fields with 3 years of relevant experience
  • Completion of 5 or more actuarial exams
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and programming languages, such as SQL, R, Python, or Radar
  • Strong analytical and communication skills

  • In-depth knowledge of the actuarial industry and insurance marketplace
