P/C Actuarial Analyst 2

Hybrid work arrangement (3 days in office, 2 days work from home) based out of our Bloomington, IL office location. We are not open to remote work.

Researches and analyzes various types of data to produce rate adjustment proposals, reserve estimates, or economic capital models; provides actuarial support for filings with state insurance departments; and implements new rates and rating plans, using existing procedures and recommending changes where appropriate.

• Research and analyze data to produce rate adjustment proposals, reserve estimates, or economic capital models.
• Provide actuarial support for filings with state insurance departments.
• Implement new rates and rating plans, recommending changes where appropriate.
• Analyze data for special projects within a defined scope and serve as Property/Casualty Actuarial representative for project committees as assigned.
• Develop and propose solutions for actuarial or product line management.
• Maintain appropriate Continuing Education credit to maintain Actuarial credentials.

• Pursue a Casualty Actuarial Society designation at least through Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS) level.
• Maintain continuing education credits.
• Experience in property/casualty actuarial analysis.
