Our client, a leading Insurance Carrier, is seeking to add a Commercial Liability Claims Representative to their Southeast team. This person would be responsible for handling mid-to-complex Commercial Liability claims to include slip and falls, premise liability, and commercial auto losses from inception to close. Qualified candidates must possess an active Louisiana Adjuster’s License with strong knowledge of Commercial Liability claims laws and statutes.

• Handle moderate to complex Commercial Liability claims from inception to close.
• Manage a pending work‑load of 50–70 claims.
• Negotiate settlements with attorneys.
• Ensure appropriate investigation of the underlying facts and circumstances, retain and utilize experts when necessary, select and manage counsel, and employ proper negotiation strategy.
• Provide direction to legal counsel and manage the litigation process.
• Attend settlement conferences on serious injury claims.

• 3–7+ years of Commercial Liability claims adjusting experience.
• Must hold an active Louisiana Adjuster’s License.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to write routine reports and correspondence, speak effectively before groups of customers or employees, and handle litigations and negotiations.

• Base pay: $75,000 – $95,000 annually (depending on experience).
