Experience in Insurance Adjusting, Home Appraisals, Real Estate or Construction is a plus. Experience using Rapid Sketch, Xactimate, CAD or other diagramming programs will be helpful.

• Schedule and conduct on‑site High Value Property Surveys, coordinating and completing surveys within your own schedule.
• Manage work assignments you accept and complete web‑based reports timely.
• Visit properties, take photos and measurements, and note issues for underwriter attention.
• Drive to and conduct on‑site property surveys on high value homes as per customer specific guidelines and procedures.
• Identify and document construction materials, characteristics, and unique features of the home.
• Obtain measurements of the home and other structures on the property.
• Generate an estimated replacement value of the home and identify major hazards.
• Communicate information gathered during on‑site inspection through Loss Control 360 accessed via the Signature website.
• Professional interactions over phone, email, and in‑person with homeowners and insurance agents.
• Work from your home office.

• Prior underwriting experience desirable.
• Prior inspection experience on residential homes desirable.
• Loss control experience desirable.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Professionalism is key.
• Construction experience desired but not required.
• BA or BS degree desirable but not required.
• Must have smartphone, tablet, personal computer.
• A late model reliable vehicle, auto and general liability insurance.
• High speed internet, digital camera or smartphone with 16mp camera or greater.
• Measuring devices such as laser, tape measure or measuring wheel.
• Must be an independent contractor (1099).
