Signature is looking to add Field Consultants for the following counties:
Bergen, Union, Morris, Somerset, and Passaic.

We are seeking self‑starting, self‑motivated independent contractors (1099) to conduct on‑site High Value Property Surveys.

• Schedule and conduct on‑site high‑value property surveys.
• Manage work assignments and complete web‑based reports on your own schedule.
• Visit properties, take photos, take measurements, and note issues for underwriters.
• Interact professionally over the phone, via email, and in person with homeowners and insurance agents.
• Drive to and conduct property surveys according to customer guidelines.
• Identify construction materials, characteristics, and unique features.
• Obtain measurements of the home and other structures.
• Generate an estimated replacement value and identify major hazards.
• Communicate findings via Loss Control 360 on the Signature website.

• Prior underwriting or inspection experience on residential homes is desirable.
• Loss control experience desirable.
• Experience in Insurance Adjusting, Home Appraisals, Real Estate or Construction is a plus; experience using Rapid Sketch, Xactimate, CAD or other diagramming programs is helpful.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Professionalism.
• Construction experience desired but not required.
• BA or BS degree desired but not required.
• Must have a smartphone, tablet, and personal computer.
• Reliable vehicle with Auto and General Liability Insurance.
• High‑speed internet, digital or smartphone camera (16mp+), and measuring devices such as laser, strap tape, or wheel.

• Work from home office.
• Independent contractor (1099) with a flexible schedule.
• Compensation: supplement or main source of income (details on application).
