Attorney-Represented Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster - PST/MST (Remote)

National General, a part of The Allstate Corporation, invites applications for this role. The position is remote and requires working during Pacific Time zone business hours.

National General offers a range of insurance products, including home, auto, and commercial lines, and seeks an adjuster experienced with attorney‑represented bodily injury claims across California, Nevada, Oregon, Arizona, and other Pacific states.

The incumbent will investigate, confirm loss facts, determine coverage, assess liability and damages, and negotiate claims within the authority limits. Litigation experience may be required.

• Investigate all aspects of bodily injury claims, including coverage, damages, subrogation, and litigation, exercising discretion and independence.
• Apply an intermediate understanding of company, industry, and organizational insurance policies.
• Assess subrogation or fraud potential and determine appropriate handling.
• Identify customer needs and provide effective service.
• Recognize vehicle body parts and associated property damage.
• Collaborate with specialized teams for fraud or subrogation cases.
• Supervisory duties: none.

• Active or readily obtainable adjuster license.
• Strong analytical, attention‑to‑detail, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• At least 2 years of experience handling attorney‑represented bodily injury claims.
• Experience with non‑standard auto insurance claims.
• Familiarity with California‑specific claims handling practices and regulations.

• Customer service orientation.
• Time‑management and global case‑management perspective.
• Problem‑solving and analytical abilities.

Base salary range varies by role level, e.g.,
Auto Analyst III: $21.20–$30.87 per hour;
Auto Consultant I: $26.49–$37.50 per hour;
Auto Sr Cons I: $35.82–$45.58 per hour. Total compensation includes base pay and incentive pay such as commission or bonus.
