Signature Companies is seeking a Field Consultant to conduct High Value Property Surveys in the following counties:
Marion, Johnson, Hamilton, Tipton, Madison.

For 30 years, Signature Companies has been an industry leader providing quality insurance and property services. This independent contractor (1099) role offers flexible, income‑supplementing or primary work opportunities.

Requirements and tools needed:

• Prior underwriting experience desirable.
• Prior residential home inspection experience desirable.
• Loss control experience desirable.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Professionalism is key.
• Construction experience desired but not required.
• BA or BS degree desired but not required.
• Must have smartphone, tablet, personal computer.
• Reliable vehicle with auto and general liability insurance.
• High-speed internet, digital camera or smartphone with 16 MP camera or greater, measuring devices (laser, tape, wheel).

• Schedule and conduct on‑site high‑value property surveys at own schedule.
• Manage work assignments and complete web‑based reports promptly.
• Visit properties, take photos and measurements; document issues for underwriters.
• Drive to and conduct on‑site surveys on high‑value homes per customer guidelines.
• Identify and document construction materials and unique features.
• Obtain measurements and generate estimated replacement value and hazards.
• Communicate findings via Loss Control 360 accessed through the Signature website.

• Work from home office.
• Interact professionally over phone, email, and in‑person with homeowners and agents.
