- Manage a team of skilled Property & Casualty production Underwriters
- Cultivate and maintain key broker relationships through market visibility
- Drive an engaging team culture while supporting the needs of the underwriting team
- Execute sales strategies with a strong technical and staff development mindset
- Travel as necessary to meet with agents and brokers in the marketplace
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and 5+ years of experience in Underwriting or Market Facing area, or 10+ years in Claims or Underwriting Support
- Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with an Associate Degree and 3+ years of experience in Underwriting or Market Facing area, or 8+ years in Claims or Underwriting Support
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- For AVP level, 7+ years of experience in Underwriting or Market Facing area, or 14+ years in Claims or Underwriting Support
- 2+ years of management experience for AVP level
- Bachelor’s Degree
- CPCU certification
- Advanced knowledge of product lines and the insurance industry
- Strong presentation and relationship-building skills
- Strategic planning and execution experience
