** Job Description
** Responsible for creating a comprehensive estimate of damages for the most complex 1st and 3rd party material damage claims leading to the proper disposition. This role is utilized as a peer mentor and may provide direction to junior employees having mastered our processes and obtained technical expertise.
** National General Insurance is seeking an experienced Auto Field Adjuster to join our field estimating team in the Orange County, California area! This is a field-based, territory-specific position covering areas such as Huntington Beach, Fountain Valley, and Santa Ana, among others. We are looking for a professional with experience in auto damage assessment, proficiency in CCC One estimating software, strong negotiation and time management skills, and a customer-focused approach to deliver exceptional service.**###

Key Responsibilities
• Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities in the most complex of files
• Applies mastered content in interpretations of all policy types written by the company and assists leadership in formal and ad hoc training
• Exhibits mastery estimating fundamentals in order to create estimates of damages for the most complex 1st and 3rd party material damage losses of all severities
• Recommends process improvements
• Builds mastered relationships with both internal and external customers
• Interprets regulatory compliance and fair claims practices### Supervisory Responsibilities

** Compensation
* * Base compensation offered for this role is:  Field Adjuster Cons II: $28.03 – 39.42/hour  Field Adjuster Sr. Cons I: $35.82 – 45.58/hour Field Adjuster Sr. Cons II: $37.98 – 48.08/hour  Compensation is based on experience and qualifications. Total compensation for this role may include additional components, such as incentive pay (for example, commission or bonus), if applicable.
