- Manage a designated volume of arbitrations and handle incoming calls regarding Medical Payments and Personal Injury Protection (PIP) claims
- Investigate and research losses to determine best practices for subrogation and recovery
- Negotiate and conclude recovery settlements while ensuring strict regulatory compliance
- File and hear arbitrations as required and determine appropriate collection methods
- Handle an inventory of automotive damage and disputed liability claims
- 3+ years of automotive claims liability experience
- Strong customer service and negotiation skills
- Proficient analytical, problem‑solving, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to type 50 wpm
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of Medical Payments, PIP, and Bodily Injury claims
- BA/BS in Business, Insurance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Advanced understanding of Department of Insurance regulations and compliance requirements
- General understanding of different lines of coverage (e.g., homeowners, auto, personal property)
- Active participation in employee resource groups or community service initiatives
