Position: Subrogation Specialist - Medical Payments (Remote)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Handle an inventory of automotive damage, disputed liability, and cross‑jurisdictional claims
  • Initiate and manage arbitration processes for disputed liability and/or damage claims
  • Negotiate and conclude recovery settlements while ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Investigate, evaluate, and settle auto claims within draft authority
  • Determine appropriate collection methods and file arbitrations as required
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Minimum of 3 years of automotive claims liability experience
  • General knowledge of Department of Insurance regulations and compliance requirements
  • Strong customer service and negotiation skills
  • Proficient analytical, problem‑solving, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Experience with Medical Payments, PIP, or Bodily Injury claims
  • BA/BS in Business, Insurance, or related area, or equivalent experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Department of Insurance regulations and compliance requirements
  • General understanding of different lines of coverage (i.e., homeowners, auto, personal property)
  • Demonstrated commitment to company culture through participation in employee resource groups or volunteering
