Position: Subrogation Specialist - Medical Payments (Remote)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Manage a designated volume of arbitrations and handle incoming calls related to Medical Payments and Personal Injury Protection (PIP) claims
  • Investigate and research losses to secure the company’s rights of recovery from insureds or other responsible parties
  • Negotiate and conclude recovery settlements while maintaining strict regulatory compliance
  • Initiate and hear arbitration between companies on disputed liability and damage claims
  • Determine appropriate collection methods and handle disputed liability claims
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Minimum of 3 years of automotive claims liability experience
  • General or advanced knowledge of Department of Insurance regulations and compliance requirements
  • Strong customer service and negotiation skills
  • Proficient analytical, problem‑solving, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Experience with Medical Payments, PIP, and Bodily Injury claims
  • BA/BS in Business, Insurance, or a related area, or equivalent experience
  • General understanding of different lines of coverage (such as homeowners and auto)
  • Active participation in employee resource groups or community service
  • Excellent communication skills with diverse backgrounds
