Subrogation Specialist - Medical ; Remote

• Manage incoming calls and handle a designated volume of arbitrations related to Medical Payments and Personal Injury Protection (PIP) claims
• Investigate and research losses to determine best practices for subrogation and recovery
• Negotiate and conclude recovery settlements while ensuring regulatory compliance
• Initiate and participate in arbitrations between companies on disputed claims
• Determine appropriate collection methods and maintain an inventory of claims

• Minimum of 3 years of automotive claims liability experience
• Strong customer service and negotiation skills
• General or advanced knowledge of Department of Insurance regulations and compliance
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and organizational skills
• High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Experience with Medical Payments, PIP, and Bodily Injury claims
• Understanding of various lines of coverage, such as homeowners and auto insurance
• BA/BS in Business, Insurance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams
• Active participation in company culture initiatives, such as employee resource groups
