Position: Subrogation Specialist - Medical Payments (Remote)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Manage a designated volume of arbitrations and handle incoming calls regarding Medical Payments and Personal Injury Protection claims
  • Investigate and research losses to determine best practices for subrogation and recovery methods
  • Negotiate and conclude recovery settlements while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
  • Initiate arbitration processes for disputed liability and damage claims
  • Maintain professionalism and positive behavior while representing the employer
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Minimum of 3 years of automotive claims liability experience
  • Strong customer service and negotiation skills
  • General or advanced knowledge of Department of Insurance regulations and compliance requirements
  • Proficient analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience with Medical Payments, PIP, and Bodily Injury claims
  • BA/BS in Business, Insurance, or a related area, or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of different lines of coverage, including homeowners and personal property
  • Demonstrated ability to foster a positive company culture through participation in employee resource groups
  • Strong communication skills that respect diverse backgrounds
