Position: Subrogation Specialist - Medical Payments (Remote)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Manage incoming calls and oversee a designated volume of arbitrations related to Medical Payments and Personal Injury Protection claims
  • Investigate and research losses to determine effective subrogation practices and secure recovery rights
  • Negotiate recovery settlements while ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Handle an inventory of automotive damage and disputed liability claims
  • Initiate and conduct arbitration hearings between companies on disputed claims
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Minimum of 3 years of automotive claims liability experience
  • General knowledge of Department of Insurance regulations and compliance requirements
  • Strong customer service and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in analytical, problem‑solving, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience with Medical Payments, PIP, and Bodily Injury claims
  • BA/BS in Business, Insurance, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Advanced understanding of Department of Insurance regulations
  • Familiarity with various lines of insurance coverage (e.g., homeowners, auto, personal property)
  • Active participation in company culture initiatives or employee resource groups
