- Manage incoming calls and handle a designated volume of arbitrations for Medical Payments and Personal Injury Protection (PIP) claims
- Investigate and research losses to determine best practices for subrogation
- Negotiate and conclude recovery settlements while ensuring regulatory compliance
- Handle disputed liability claims and out‑of‑state losses
- Initiate and hear arbitration between companies on disputed liability and/or damage claims
- Minimum of 3 years of automotive claims liability experience
- Strong customer service and negotiation skills
- Proficient analytical, problem‑solving, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Basic math and computer skills, including the ability to type 50 wpm
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with Medical Payments, PIP, and Bodily Injury claims
- BA/BS in Business, Insurance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Advanced knowledge of Department of Insurance regulations and compliance requirements
- General understanding of different lines of coverage (e.g., homeowners, auto, personal property)
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering an inclusive company culture
