- Investigate and adjust workers' compensation claims with high potential exposure
- Analyze coverage, determine compensability, and establish reserves
- Negotiate settlements and prepare large loss reports for internal and external audiences
- Conduct meetings with insureds and claimants to discuss claims
- Collaborate closely with defense attorneys and other vendors, including medical case management
- Minimum of 10 to 13 years of workers' compensation claims adjusting experience in Pennsylvania and Delaware with higher exposure claims
- Current license to adjust workers’ compensation claims in Delaware
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively with a variety of internal and external contacts
- Industry designations such as Associate in Claims are a plus
- Experience with claims adjusting in a high-exposure environment
- Additional industry certifications or designations
- Familiarity with state-specific workers' compensation laws
- Proven track record of successful claims negotiation and resolution
- Strong analytical skills to assess complex claims situations
