Position: Subrogation Specialist - Medical Payments (Remote)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Manage incoming calls and a designated volume of arbitrations related to Medical Payments and Personal Injury Protection (PIP) claims
  • Investigate and research claims to determine best practices for subrogation
  • Negotiate and conclude recovery settlements while ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Handle automotive damage, disputed liability, and cross-jurisdictional claims
  • File and hear arbitrations as required to protect the company’s rights of recovery
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Minimum of 3 years of automotive claims liability experience
  • Strong customer service and negotiation skills
  • Proficient analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Experience with Medical Payments, PIP, and Bodily Injury claims
  • BA/BS in Business, Insurance, or a related area, or equivalent experience
  • General understanding of different lines of coverage (i.e., homeowners, auto, personal property)
  • Advanced knowledge of Department of Insurance regulations and compliance requirements
  • Active participation in company culture initiatives, such as employee resource groups or volunteering
