- Manage incoming calls and a designated volume of arbitrations related to Medical Payments and Personal Injury Protection (PIP) claims
- Investigate and research claims to determine best practices for subrogation
- Negotiate and conclude recovery settlements while ensuring regulatory compliance
- Handle automotive damage, disputed liability, and cross-jurisdictional claims
- File and hear arbitrations as required to protect the company’s rights of recovery
- Minimum of 3 years of automotive claims liability experience
- Strong customer service and negotiation skills
- Proficient analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with Medical Payments, PIP, and Bodily Injury claims
- BA/BS in Business, Insurance, or a related area, or equivalent experience
- General understanding of different lines of coverage (i.e., homeowners, auto, personal property)
- Advanced knowledge of Department of Insurance regulations and compliance requirements
- Active participation in company culture initiatives, such as employee resource groups or volunteering
