- Manage incoming calls and oversee a volume of arbitrations related to Medical Payments and Personal Injury Protection (PIP) claims
- Investigate and research losses to determine best practices for subrogation and recovery
- Negotiate and conclude recovery settlements while ensuring compliance with regulations
- Handle inventory related to automotive damage, disputed liability, and cross-jurisdictional claims
- File and hear arbitrations as required, determining appropriate collection methods
- Minimum of 3 years of automotive claims liability experience
- General or advanced knowledge of Department of Insurance regulations and compliance requirements
- Strong customer service and negotiation skills
- Proficient analytical, problem‑solving, prioritization, and organizational skills
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with Medical Payments, PIP, and Bodily Injury claims
- Advanced knowledge of Department of Insurance regulations and compliance requirements
- BA/BS in Business, Insurance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- General understanding of different lines of coverage (i.e., homeowners, auto, personal property)
- Active participation in company culture‑building activities or employee resource groups
