Subrogation Specialist - Medical ; Remote

• Manage a designated volume of arbitrations, including initiating arbitration and cross-applying between companies on disputed Medical Payments and Personal Injury Protection (PIP) claims
• Investigate and research losses to determine best practices for subrogation
• Negotiate and conclude recovery settlements while maintaining strict regulatory compliance
• Handle an inventory consisting of automotive damage, disputed liability, and cross-jurisdictional claims
• Determine appropriate recovery methods and file arbitrations as required

• Minimum of 3 years of automotive claims liability experience
• General or advanced knowledge of Department of Insurance regulations and compliance requirements
• Strong customer service and negotiation skills
• Proficient analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and organizational skills
• High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Experience with Medical Payments, PIP, or Bodily Injury claims
• General understanding of different lines of coverage (e.g., homeowners, auto, personal property)
• BA/BS in Business, Insurance, or related area, or equivalent experience
• Excellent communication skills with respect for diverse backgrounds
• Demonstrated participation in community service or employee resource groups
