We’re looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our Canadian Account Management team, where you'll bring prior experience working with clients on matters concerning insurance coverage, consulting with them on insurance needs, and other day-to-day client management expertise.

:
Toronto-based (hybrid work environment, 2 days in-office, 3 days remote)

Education and/or Experience

  • Insurance Diploma/Post-Secondary education in Insurance or equivalent experience
  • Registered Insurance Broker of Ontario (RIBO) license in good standing required
  • Between 2-5 years of Commercial Lines insurance experience is required
  • Excellent computer skills expected, and EPIC fluency is an asset
  • Experience with Hub Spot is an asset

  • Strong Quotation skills for new business, cross-selling, upselling and remarketing to ensure clients’ needs are consistently met or exceeded

  • Excellent organizational, planning and prioritizing skills
  • Adaptable to change
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, experience in EPIC and industry software and rating engines
  • A talent for listening, establishing trust and is dedicated to crafting solutions for clients

  • Detail and goal-oriented, highly motivated and resourceful to achieve results
  • Solid team player—ability to adapt to and collaborate with various team members and individuals
  • Positive attitude with a strong work ethic

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • First things first, you’ll deliver the highest level of client service and care by servicing your assigned book of business
  • Act as the main liaison for commercial and personal insurance clients, including but not limited to renewals, policy changes and interpretations, and customer resolution
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by promptly addressing client inquiries and resolving concerns
  • Evaluate policies and provide recommendations tailored to individual client requirements, identifying opportunities for cross-selling/upselling
  • Follow up and coordinate with clients to ensure the completion of necessary documents
  • Maintain updated client information
  • Manage accounts receivable and billing
  • Promote client loyalty through attention to detail and relationship building
  • Work closely with Underwriters, Accounting and other departments internally and externally to ensure client needs are prioritized
