- Manage a designated volume of arbitrations for disputed Medical Payments and Personal Injury Protection (PIP) claims
- Investigate and research losses to determine best practices for subrogation
- Negotiate and conclude recovery settlements while maintaining regulatory compliance
- Handle inventory of automotive damage and cross-jurisdictional claims
- Determine appropriate recovery methods and file arbitrations as required
- Minimum of 3 years of automotive claims liability experience
- General or advanced knowledge of Department of Insurance regulations and compliance requirements
- Strong customer service and negotiation skills
- Proficient analytical, problem‑solving, prioritization, and organizational skills
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with Medical Payments, PIP, and Bodily Injury claims
- General understanding of various lines of coverage (i.e., homeowners, auto, personal property)
- BA/BS in Business, Insurance, or a related area, or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication skills with a respect for diverse backgrounds
- Willingness to invest extra time and effort to fulfill business needs
