- Handle an inventory of automotive damage, disputed liability, and cross‑jurisdictional claims
- Initiate and conduct arbitration between companies on disputed liability and damage claims
- Negotiate and finalize recovery settlements while adhering to regulatory compliance
- Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle auto claims within draft authority
- Determine appropriate collection methods and file arbitrations as required
- Minimum of 3 years of automotive claims liability experience
- General or advanced knowledge of Department of Insurance regulations and compliance requirements
- Strong customer service and negotiation skills
- Proficient analytical, problem‑solving, prioritization, and organizational skills
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with Medical Payments, PIP, and Bodily Injury claims
- Understanding of various lines of coverage (e.g., homeowners, auto, personal property)
- BA/BS in Business, Insurance, or a related area, or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated respect for diversity and excellent communication skills
- Active participation in company culture initiatives and community service
