- Handle incoming calls and manage a designated volume of arbitrations related to Medical Payments and Personal Injury Protection (PIP) claims
- Investigate and research losses to determine best practices for subrogation
- Negotiate and settle recovery claims within established authority while ensuring regulatory compliance Initiate and hear arbitration cases between companies on disputed claims
- Determine appropriate collection methods and file arbitrations as required
- Minimum of 3+ years of automotive claims liability experience
- General knowledge of Department of Insurance regulations and compliance requirements
- Strong customer service and negotiation skills
- Proficient analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and organizational skills
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in Medical Payments, PIP, or Bodily Injury claims
- Advanced knowledge of Department of Insurance regulations and compliance requirements
- BA/BS in Business, Insurance, or a related area, or equivalent experience
- General understanding of different lines of coverage, such as homeowners and auto insurance
- Demonstrated respect for diversity through effective communication with individuals from various backgrounds
