Mobilitas, a commercial insurance company created by CSAA Insurance Group, seeks motivated individuals to reinvent commercial insurance in the mobility space. We are actively hiring for a Sr. Commercial Casualty Claims Specialist to help us reimagine insurance.

As a Sr. Commercial Casualty Claims Specialist, you will be responsible for resolving all aspects of 1st and 3rd party injury claims of low to moderate complexity for personal lines as well as commercial claims. Duties include becoming licensed in several states to handle claims across multiple regions.

• Manage all claims efficiently and effectively to an appropriate resolution with minimal supervision.
• Handle liability injury claims of low to moderate complexity, including coverage, liability, and damage concerns.
• Handle 1st party exposures including Medical Payment coverage, PIP, Uninsured/Under-insured Motorists, and Auto-Death Benefit claims.
• Assist in taking first notice of loss calls (FNOL) and participate in the department phone queue as needed.
• Make coverage determinations and conduct investigative work of a complex nature, advising customers on accurate course of action related to coverage issues.
• Make appropriate liability determinations based on gathered evidence.
• Evaluate potential subrogation and initiate initial subrogation notices when appropriate.
• Develop negotiation strategies to resolve claims with insureds, claimants, or representatives of injured parties.
• Communicate pertinent case facts to a supervisor, manager, or committee when appropriate.
• Actively shape our company culture (e.g., participate in employee resource groups, volunteering, etc.).
• Align with cultural norms and collaborate during onboarding and relationship-building activities.
• Travel as needed for the role, including divisional or team meetings and other in-person meetings.
• Fulfill business needs, which may include investing extra time or assisting other teams.

• 4-5 years of claims experience with a minimum of 3-5 years in casualty adjuster experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or a minimum of 3 years experience in casualty claims within P&C insurance.
• Must hold an Adjuster’s license for all applicable states or obtain licenses within 90 days of hiring as a condition of employment.

• 5+ years of casualty claims adjuster experience.
• BA/BS in business, insurance, or related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Commercial claims handling experience.
• Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.
