Position: Life Central Specialist

Gradient Financial Group is a leading financial services company that includes twelve unique entities doing business throughout the country. Gradient Insurance Brokerage is an independent marketing organization offering fixed annuities and life insurance.

What you’ll do
  • Sales-minded and open to making contacts via phone
  • Receive inbound calls from FSPs/Marketers with life insurance product and plan questions and provide recommendations based on customer needs
  • Assist FSPs and marketers with questions regarding life insurance products
  • Reach out to interested FSPs or marketers who have inquired for help
  • Provide a positive customer experience with excellent customer satisfaction
  • Meet productivity goals on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis
  • Update customer file in CRM with summary of interaction
  • Assist with trainings for FSPs/Marketers on products both new and current
  • Lead in handling Talk Desk Chat, assess licensure and product recommendation as appropriate
  • Continual personal training regarding client correspondence, processes, procedures, compliance
  • Continual personal training on products both new and current
  • Provide case design, including development of illustrations and reports for informational purposes
  • Provide case redesign based on progression of case/appointment process for informational purposes
  • Provide general case illustration support
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of life insurance products and where they fit for illustration purposes
  • Identify case design opportunities to provide referrals to Gradient companies
  • All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED – Required
  • Sales or recruiting experience – Preferred
  • 1+ years of experience working with life insurance – Required
  • Basic product knowledge and experience – Required
  • Illustrations experience – Preferred
  • Working knowledge of life insurance products
  • Proficient knowledge of office procedures and of spelling, grammar, punctuation, and arithmetic
  • Proficient knowledge of the English language, written and oral
  • Proficient skill in Microsoft Office and Outlook programs, and annuity research programs
  • Proficient customer service skills
  • Proficient organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficient skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail
  • Proficient skill in talking to others to convey information effectively
  • Proficient research skills
  • Proficient analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient collaboration skills

  • Working ability to make product recommendations to financial service professionals
