- Manage all aspects of 1st and 3rd party injury claims of low to moderate complexity
- Make coverage determinations and conduct complex investigative work
- Develop negotiation strategies to resolve claims effectively with insureds and claimants
- Assist in taking first notice of loss calls (FNOL) and participate in the department phone queue
- Communicate pertinent case facts to supervisors or management as needed
- 4-5 years of claims experience with a minimum of 3-5 years in casualty adjuster experience
- High school diploma (HS/GED) or a minimum of 3 years of experience in a casualty claims role within the P&C insurance industry
- Must hold an Adjuster's license for all applicable states or obtain licenses within 90 days of filling the position
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- 5+ years of casualty claims adjuster experience
- BA/BS in business, insurance, or related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience handling commercial claims
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
- Demonstrated ability to actively shape company culture and participate in community initiatives
