The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Insurance Broker to join our expanding team in Ajax, Ontario. This is a role for a "hunter"—a sales-driven producer who thrives on building a book of business while providing expert, tailored advice. Your Responsibilities
- Business Development: Proactively generate new business through existing networks, centers of influence, and outside sales activities.
- Expert Advice: Analyze client needs and market research to recommend appropriate coverage options across personal and commercial lines.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain legendary client relationships, managing the policy lifecycle from initial consultation to claims support.
- Negotiation: Liaise with underwriting teams to secure favorable terms and conditions for your clients.
- Lead Coordination: Efficiently follow up on leads and manage your sales pipeline within our lead management system.
What You Bring to the Table
- Licensing: Must hold a valid RIBO License.
- Experience: Proven track record in insurance sales, retail sales, or telemarketing.
- The "Hunter" Mentality: You are ambitious, competitive, and not shy about creating referral partnerships with local businesses.
- Tech Savvy: Familiarity with Power Broker, Applied Rating, and various insurance company portals.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills with a knack for explaining complex policy details simply.
- Pay: $50,000.00 – $ per year (Competitive commission structure).
