Content Claims Specialist - Field - Level I (Hybrid: Work from Home + Driving Role)

We are seeking a Content Claims Specialist with strong communication and problem‑solving skills. Candidates may come from adjuster, restoration, roofing, customer service, or retail backgrounds.

• Communicate with adjusters, policyholders, and vendors to explain claims processes.
• Complete physical inventory of contents impacted by covered losses and apply appropriate methodology.
• Ensure consistent, quality turnaround of all claims to meet company productivity, performance, and SLA requirements.
• Coordinate with the Field Support Department to organize resources for data entry and LKQ assessment.
• Independently manage claim load to achieve timely closures.
• Maintain detailed work and time logs for all processed claims.
• Update claims notes in the company system, noting incurred hours and related issues.
• Ensure timely and accurate pricing of outstanding items per LKQ standards.
• Maintain professional knowledge through continuing education.
• Promote the company brand, image, and reputation professionally.
• Uphold the Crawford Code of Business Conduct at all times.
• Participate in special projects, CAT response, or other duties as requested.

• High School Diploma (secondary) required; college degree preferred.
• Minimum 6 months relevant work experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication, attention to detail, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong computer skills (MS Office, Outlook, Excel).
• Excellent interpersonal skills for handling challenging situations.
• Valid driver’s license and background check clearance.

• Remote work from home; provide an adequate workspace, high‑speed internet service, reliable personal vehicle, and valid driver’s license.
• Overnight travel required.
• Company will provide a laptop; employee responsible for caring for equipment per policy.
