Loss Specialist

• Handle and process assigned volume within Total Loss and Insurance Repair processes in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Service potential and actual Total Loss and Insurance Repair calls, ensuring compliance with call handling requirements
• Complete end-to-end Total Loss and Insurance Repair functions with precision and adherence to regulations
• Collaborate with other departments and Total Loss and Insurance Repair vendors as needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum one (1) year of experience in a servicing center environment
• Basic math skills to perform cost-benefit analyses related to insurance claims
• Established verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment

• Experience with in the auto finance industry
• Experience in Total Loss and/or Insurance Repair processes
• Knowledge of Total Loss, Insurance Repair, and related regulations
• Familiarity with collections policies and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
